We’re excited to announce that over the next few weeks we’ll be recruiting for members of the first Bytes Youth Advisory Board!
True to our values, we are looking for new ways to centre the views of young people within our work. While individual projects use both regular feedback forms and sessions with groups of participants to learn from them and incorporate their views in our work, we have never had a formal, organisation wide board of young people fulfilling this role.
The creation of the Bytes Youth Advisory Board will change that. We’re initially looking for six young people to take part, along with several younger members of Bytes staff. The Advisory Board will hold regular meetings in our Belfast head office and advise the Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity for young people and we’re looking for applicants from a range of backgrounds. No previous experience on any youth board is required.
